The Holonym 2026 Quarter III (July - September) Update is Here!

Q3 brought Shield to Aztec mainnet, put Human Passport into the Shield verification flow, and added new signing and agent capabilities to the human.tech Wallet Protocol. Here are the quarter's key updates, followed by a few October developments.

Key announcements

  • Shield launched on Aztec v5 mainnet in July, screening transfers as they enter and leave Aztec. Read the announcement.
  • Clean SDK opened Shield's underlying tools to developers building on Aztec. It's free to integrate and live on v5. Read about Clean SDK.
  • Squid Mode launched on the WaaP SDK in August. One account can sign transactions across EVM, Sui and Solana, with policies enforced through the Wallet Protocol and Ika's validator network. How it works.
  • Passport's Q3 updates included its Shield integration and an Embed redesign. A qualifying Passport score meets Shield's personhood requirement for the first $1,000 bridged cumulatively.
  • Work launched in September, bringing human.tech's agent tools to everyday business processes. Explore Work.
  • Government services coming online: work on TridentGold, Barbados' citizen-held national digital identity program, continued through the quarter. Read the background.
  • October follow-up: Gas Tank began sponsoring users' transaction fees across EVM, Sui and Solana; AEX opened its waitlist; and the team joined TOKEN2049 and Sui Basecamp in Singapore. Gas Tank · AEX.

Work

Work launched in September. It helps teams handle routine work such as answering quote requests, entering orders and following up with past customers. People decide which tasks an agent can handle independently and which need approval.

In September, human.tech also began offering companies help adapting their operations to AI. Co-founder Nanak Nihal Khalsa describes the approach. Work runs on TAP, an open-source security layer that gives agents access to tools while keeping credentials and sensitive actions under policy and human control. Socratic APIs help agents learn how to use services from the responses they receive.

Government services coming online

Work on TridentGold, Barbados' citizen-held national digital identity program, continued through the quarter. TridentArrow, the digital travel credential for the Barbados–Guyana corridor, is in early testing. See the corridor.

Citizens cross the corridor today on the physical national eID. The two governments opened it to passport-free travel in July.

At United Nations Climate Week, Senator Jonathan Reid, Barbados' Minister of Innovation, Industry, Science and Technology, discussed the country's digital initiatives. See the post.

Quests and community

Quests launched as a way for people to try human.tech products and share feedback. Journeys cover Passport, Privacy and the Wallet, with progress tracked through points and achievements.

October events

In October, the team took part in two events in Singapore. human.tech reached the final ten of the TOKEN2049 NEXUS Startup Competition, and Shady El Damaty and Arun Sajeev led an AI Builder Lab workshop at Sui Basecamp. The workshop kit is public.

The second Regulatory PETshop took place in Washington, DC, on 16 October, hosted by USC Marshall's VanEck Digital Assets Initiative and The Fintech Foundation. Shady El Damaty presented and moderated a discussion about accountability when software acts for people.

In the press

Coverage of the Clean SDK launch included ID Tech Wire and Business Insider. Business Insider also covered the Wallet Protocol's launch on Ika as the first commercial application of 2PC-MPC threshold signing. Read the article.

Human Passport

Passport's existing products include Data Services for scoring wallet lists, Individual Verifications for privacy-preserving checks, and Passport Embed for verification inside partner apps.

Shield integration and an Embed redesign

Passport embedded everywhere: new designs and capabilities coming soon. A Passport Embed redesign is underway. See the update.

Passport also became part of the Shield verification flow. For the first $1,000 a wallet bridges cumulatively, a Unique Humanity score of 20 or more meets the personhood requirement. Higher cumulative amounts require Proof of Clean Hands, which is also available as a Passport credential.

Kaelis integrated Passport with iExec, pairing confidential transactions with Sybil resistance.

human.tech Wallet Protocol

The Wallet Protocol provides embedded wallets for apps and agents. Users control what an agent can do through policies and time-limited permissions.

Squid Mode and agent recipes

Squid Mode launched in August. It lets one account sign on EVM, Sui and Solana without maintaining a separate wallet for each chain. The secure enclave enforces the user's policy, while Ika's validator network helps complete signatures; neither can sign alone (2PC-MPC).

The recipe library grew to more than twenty examples for apps and agents. They cover tasks such as market monitoring, trading, cross-chain payments and liquidity management. The Cetus yield agent, for example, can open and manage a Sui liquidity position within limits set by its user. Browse the recipes.

October launches: Gas Tank and AEX

Gas Tank launched in October, allowing apps to sponsor eligible user transactions across EVM, Sui and Solana. Balances stay in the relevant chain's gas token, while the app uses one integration. Learn about Gas Tank.

AEX, the Agent Exchange, opened its waitlist in October. It gives people a place to find agents, deploy them and see what they do. Three starter agents help users find airdrops, review token approvals and understand the links left by a wallet.

Shield and Clean SDK

Shield launched on Aztec v5 mainnet on 21 July. It screens wallets against 23 international sanctions, watchlist and politically exposed person sources as funds enter and leave Aztec. For the first $1,000 a wallet bridges cumulatively, a qualifying Human Passport score meets the personhood requirement. Above that, Shield requires Proof of Clean Hands.

Shield screening on entry and exit, with Passport scoring for the first $1,000 and Proof of Clean Hands for higher cumulative amounts.

Clean SDK gives developers the TypeScript client, contracts and attestation service used by Shield. It is free to integrate, live on Aztec v5 mainnet, and will move to v6 as the network upgrades. The technical walkthrough explains the screening and bridging flow.

What's next

  • More from Work, and from government programs such as TridentGold.
  • The Passport Embed redesign, plus more features we will announce later.
  • Continued development of AEX and the agent recipes available through the Wallet Protocol.
